Upon Us All a Little Rain Must Fall

“This is the mystery of the quotient, quotient / Upon us all, upon us all a little rain must fall.”

Sometimes it is remarkable to me how close our group seems to be with one another. Despite the bickering and the differences, we move together so well in the world.

Today we played games in the library and then headed to Washington Square Park to run around until the rain fell. The group huddled under a few umbrellas and laughed in the rain. Then we marched on to the Uncommons to play more games. It was remarkable how naturally we all split into groups to play various games without a word or a complaint among us.

Sometimes the most simple, most poetic days are the most remarkable.
